Auch an diesem Freitag werden wir wieder selbst kreativ. In unserer interkulturellen DIY-Reihe kannst du diese Woche Stricken lernen und neue Kleidungsstücke ergattern! Bring einfach selbst Kleidung mit, die du nicht mehr anziehst und such dir etwas Neues aus.
Zu Beginn gibt es einen kurzen thematischen Input zu Fast Fashion und welche Auswirkungen sie auf uns hat. Dazu zeigen wir einige Ausschnitte des Films „True Cost“. Gemeinsam wollen wir uns mit euch über Handlungsmöglichkeiten und Alternativen austauschen. Im Anschluss bieten wir für Alle Hilfe und Einstieg ins Stricken.
Mitzubringen, wenn ihr etwas davon habt*:
– Wolle nach Bedarf und Belieben
– Stricknadeln (passend zur Wollstärke)
– Kleidung zum Tauschen
*wir haben einige Nadeln und etwas Wolle vorrätig, ihr könnt also auch nur zum üben und ausprobieren kommen ?
Wir würden uns über einen solidarischen Teilnahmebetrag von 2 – 10€ je nach Ermessen sehr freuen.

Again on this Friday we will get creative. In our intercultural DIY-workshop you can learn how to knit and find some new clothes. Just bring some clothes you don’t wear anymore and swap them for something you like.
In the beginning there will be a short theoretical input on Fast Fashion and impacts this may have on us. For this purpose we will show some excerpts of the movie “The True Cost” and then exchange ideas about alternatives and what we can do ourselves to change things. After that we offer tips and tricks on how to knit from beginning to more advanced projects.
Please bring with you, if you have*:
– Wool of your choice and preference
– Knitting needles
– Clothes you want to swap
*we can provide some knittings needles and wool if you don’t have any and just want to try it out ?
A solidary participation fee between 2-10 € would be very welcome.
